Im Internet kommt man durchaus auch kostenlos an kostenpflichtige Inhalte. Falls ihr sie noch nicht kennt, so empfehle ich euch den Gebrauch der sogennanten „Nationallizenzen“.
Die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft finanziert für alle Bürger den kostenlosen Zugang zu elektronischen Datenbanken. Wer einen Universitätsbibliothekenausweis besitzt, hat bereits Zugang. Alle anderen können auf http://www.nationallizenzen.de den Zugang beantragen.
Ich nenne mal ein paar relevante Datenbanken:
- Central and Eastern European Online Library (C.E.E.O.L.), mit diesen Zeitschriften
- Voprosy Istorii Complete Collection
- East View
- COMINTERN Electronic Archives
Darüberhinaus Zeitschriftendatenbanken aus allen Wissenschaften, z.B. aus Geschichte, Soziologie usw. Wer die Nationallizenzen nutzt, braucht für Zeitschriften fast nicht mehr in die Bibliothek...

Hilfsmittel zum Bibliographieren
Wie wir alle wissen, ist die Inkonsistenz und die schwere Nachprüfbarkeit von Information dem Internet eigentlich. Die Frage ist also, wie wir die Informationsflut kultivieren sollten. Hier meine Hitliste ernstzunehmender Antworten:
- Zotero
- LibX, am Besten mit der Edition „Russian and Slavic/Slavonic studies“
Beide beschränken sich nicht auf Internetquellen, sondern bieten, insbesondere in Kombination, alle Möglichkeiten, die der Bibliothekar bei seiner Arbeit oder der Wissenschaftler fürs Bibliographieren braucht.
